TaiChi17 Online Tutor
Learning Tai Chi has never been easier
TaiChi17 Online Tutor is an introductory course to Tai Chi exercise
TaiChi17 Online Tutor is for people who have heard about the many benefits of doing tai chi exercise but have no easy access to a tai chi class or teacher. It is not meant to replace a tai chi teacher. It provides a good basic knowledge of tai chi for a student to build on. It incorporates the expertise of a tai chi teacher that you can draw on to make progress in your practice of tai chi.
It uses multi-media to deliver the teaching; visual, audio and text. The video provides different angles to watch. Audio can remind the student about the movement without looking at the video. Text is to give details that one may miss when just watching the video. Audio and text are to be used in conjunction with the visual. It can never be described fully by using only words as many things are happening at the same time.
Tai Chi 17 uses the first 17 moves of the Tai Chi Set of Master Moy Lin-Shin. It has been adjusted for ease of learning without a live teacher. Its emphasis is on alignment of the body for balance and relaxation providing body awareness.
